When faced with tough economic times, every penny spent by businesses is scrutinised and every new supplier undergoes an in-depth evaluation. One of the toughest sectors to survive in during this double-dip recession is without a doubt the marketing sector, with so many companies forced to reduce or cut their marketing budgets. Stringent tendering processes ensure that suppliers must provide more than just the expected and be creative and competitive in their service offering. Time is money and efficient project and supplier management is more crucial now than ever before.
That is why we decided to literally put our heads together to come up with a solution which benefits our existing and future clients by instigating an exciting and incredibly well balanced business merger. Our three previous dynamic businesses, based in the heart of Colchester, have joined forces to create one very hot new company. We launched Fever on 1st April 2013 to combine the experience and expertise of Ben Green previously Managing Director at Fratello Media, Ben Tyler previously Creative Director at 33 Dot Design and Tim Cowan previously Managing Director at BTG Marketing.
Fate may well have had a hand in bringing us together…. We met because our businesses were all located in the same business premises in Victoria Chambers, St. Runwald Street, Colchester. A natural team spirit evolved between us, and projects that required a team effort received high praise from clients – testament that our collective skill-sets and combined forces delivered something desired by a lot of businesses in today’s challenging climate.
Marketing and Media are such broad terms and businesses may require assistance with just one element or support with a vast array of services. The combined strengths that have created Fever, offer our clients the opportunity to tap into vast and varying expertise. The reduction in time spent sourcing and managing multiple suppliers is attractive in itself, but add to that the pool of creative ideas, marketing and communication experience, design capability, web and media skills and IT knowledge and support. However, what makes us unique in our offering is our incredibly refreshing “plain speaking – no jargon allowed” approach to our integrated marketing agency. Areas of this sector are flooded with industry-speak that tells businesses very little about what they need or what they can expect for their money. We are bold in our approach and all appreciate that in the real world, our clients want to see a return on their investment alongside pitch perfect marketing.
The portfolios of our three previous businesses are impressive to say the least. Each of us had a business that had grown and flourished in its’ own right prior to our merger and we truly hope that Fever will take hold and quickly spread through businesses in Essex and Suffolk.
